Christian Homebirth and Happy Babies

Christian Homebirth and Happy Babies
Format: eBook | pages: 194 | price: $7.95

When you think of childbirth, you may picture a nervous husband driving his ailing wife to the hospital. She is then gently pushed in a wheelchair by a kind nurse to the hospital room where she will be moved to a bed, and mercifully be administered an epidural by the understanding anesthesiologist.

A few hours later, mother is sitting up in the hospital bed, her hair and makeup are perfect, and she is gazing down at her newborn baby, who rests contentedly in her strong and loving arms. The father takes pictures and beams with pride over his new bundle of joy.

Is that how it happens? Maybe it does for some people. Unfortunately, many people have very different experiences. Some people, such as myself, have decided to by-pass the hospital route, and have their children at home. There were no midwives present at any of my births. It was just my husband and I, and eventually my other children.

If you are wondering whether you should have an unassisted homebirth or not, you need to first pray about it, and trust in the Lord. Next, you need to read, research, research, and research some more.

I recommend that you learn how to do an unassisted homebirth, even if you don't plan on having one yourself. You never know if you'll end up needing to help someone; possibly in an emergency situation.

I delivered my own children at home, with no doctors or midwives present. This book contains my birth stories, along with the birth stories of some other ladies who also birthed at home, unassisted.

This ebook goes further than homebirth, however. It discusses home-educating your children, starting at birth. Topics such as the following (and more) are explored:

- Can a baby happily sleep through the night by 9 weeks of age or younger?

- Can you breastfeed on a schedule, and not lose your milk supply?

- Can your child start reading (and enjoy it) by the age of 4?

- What can you do to prepare your child for successful homeschooling for the future?

Are you pregnant? Do you plan on birthing at home, but would like to read of other's experiences? If so, I pray this book will be a blessing for you.

Note: This ebook does not give out any medical advice. It is simply a record of my personal experiences, as well as some records of the experiences of others. Also included in this ebook are practical chapters on such topics as potty training, early homeschooling, etc. If you choose to have an unassisted homebirth, then you are responsible for the outcome, not I, nor anyone else.
